I spent many years exploring the world, art, and myself. But it wasn't until I pursued design that things came together. Yep, design is my jam. I would even describe myself as design-obsessed.

Two words that have been at the center of much of my life are why and how. Why we do the things we do. How we become who we are. Whether it be a novel, a film, or a design, at the heart of every good story are why and how.

I have been accused more than once of thinking too much. Yet, thinking has shaped my life experience. It has made me a better writer, a better educator, a better designer, a better man. I think therefore . . . well, you know the rest.

I’m a designer who codes.

I developed my skill set completing a degree in Web Design, working for a software development firm and a lifestyle brand, and taking on freelance clients. What has helped me most in my learning has been my ability to learn on my own and find valuable resources. At least half of what I know came from searching for a solution to a design problem. Necessity is indeed the mother of invention.
